Bell Systems

by | Dec 17, 2019

Bell Systems is a new collaboration between Portland rock wunderkind Spencer Albee (Spencer and the Walrus, As Fast As, Rustic Overtones, et al.) and Genevi√®ve Beaudoin, the strikingly gifted singer who also fronts the indie-roots band Dead Gowns. “Saint Endo” is the first offering of what will be a three-song EP/maxi-single called, appropriately, “Three songs to dance to,” expected early next year (as is the Gowns’ first full-length). Albee pushed the keys and buttons, Beaudoin put a recent medical procedure to lyrics, and longtime Albee co-conspirator Andrew Hodgkins banged drums. Seth Gass is shooting all three of the EP’s videos; dancer Michelle Mola is featured in this one.
